A 25-year-old man who was involved in the supply of cocaine has been jailed for 20 months.
Police who searched Nikolay Krastev’s car in Chapel Lane in Little Cornard, near Sudbury, earlier this year found two lottery tickets containing cocaine and £170 cash, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
The officers seized a mobile phone which contained messages which showed he was being directed to various places to sell drugs, said John Livingston, prosecuting.
Krastev, of Beaty Road, Sudbury, admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply on June 2 this year and possessing criminal property.
Also before the court was Ashanti Ristemov, 23, of no fixed address, who admitted possessing two wraps of cocaine on June 2 and was jailed for two weeks.
The court heard that police officers on mobile patrol saw Ristemov sitting in a Renault Clio in Chapel Lane, Little Cornard, on June 2 and found the drugs in a panel under the dashboard.
Ristemov has been in custody for 89 days and will be released immediately.
Lynne Shirley for Krastev said her client had no previous convictions in the UK and his remand in custody was his first experience of custody.
