Four homes in Suffolk sold for more than £1million in July.

Information from the Land Registry shows how much properties changed hands for in the county each month, and we’ve picked out some of the most valuable.

The most expensive property sold in Suffolk in July was situated in Nayland – 42 Stoke Road fetched more than £1.5m when sold by agents Chewton Rose.

Two coastal properties also attracted high prices – one just over £1m and the other a shade under.

Bedfords in Aldeburgh sold Heron House in Saxmundham Road for £1,065,000 while Old Mill in Fort Green changed hands for £950,000.

The latter property was sold by Savills, who were also involved in the sale of Bell House, Quay Street, Orford, which fetched £895,000.

Other high-value properties changing hands in Suffolk in July included Decoy House, Old Church Road, Melton (£1.4m), 71 Guildhall Street, Bury St Edmunds (£1.2m) and 52 Ivry Street in Ipswich (£905,000).
