Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran left fans shocked and saddened when he revealed today that hostile comments have caused him to stop using his Twitter account.

The singer songwriter, who grew up in Framlingham, came out of his media break earlier this year, ahead of the release of his latest album Divide.

He is also well known for his charity work, from holding fundraising gigs to donating his clothes to charity shops and championing the work of Comic Relief through Red Nose Day.
