Framlingham’s Ed Sheeran has introduced strict new rules for his 2018 tickets, in order to stop touts selling them and making a profit.

The Thinking Out Loud singer hosted a charity gig back in February for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the tickets were being resold on Viagogo for up to £5,000.

The Suffolk superstar does not want a repeat of that situation.

From now, if you attend one of his concerts you will need to take four types of ID, including your tickets, your booking confirmation, your credit card and a valid form of ID.

Without these you can be refused entry.

The only tickets which will be valid for Ed’s 2018 tour have to be purchased from his official site here or his offical resale partner’s site, Twickets.

Twickets is the only site ticket holders can sell unwanted tickets and not make a profit from it, meaning fans will only ever pay face value.
