Ipswich Town head to local rivals Colchester United tonight, as the Blues’ preparations for the new Championship season step up a notch.
New signings Joe Garner, Jordan Spence, Bersant Celina and Dominic Iorfa are expected to feature, but Tom Adeyemi (illness) and Emyr Huws (Calf/achilles) will be missing.
So far this summer, Town, who announced their new 2017-18 squad numbers yesterday, have defeated Drogheda, 5-0, Peterborough, 3-1 and Southend, 4-1, losing 2-1 at Gillingham.
The game at the Weston Homes Community Stadium kicks-off at 7.30pm and sports writer Chris Brammer will be on hand from 7pm with all the team news and build-up and then, from the start of the game, plenty of live reporting, comments, observations, polls and the odd bit of banter!
