AKERS ARTHUR GEORGE Formerly of Stowmarket, passed away peacefully at The Gables Care Home Chatteris on September 9th 2023. Aged 100. A much loved husband of the late Marjorie and father of the late David. Brother to the late Douglas and brother-in-law of Marion. Also devoted and treasured Uncle. He was a dedicated and much respected teacher in Stowmarket for many years. He will be greatly missed. The service of Thanksgiving will be held at St. Peter and St Mary's Church, Stowmarket on Friday 6th October at 11 a.m. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of George can be made at the Church Service for the St. Peter and St. Mary's Church Bell Fund also donations can be made online to the British Heart Foundation at arturakers.muchloved.com
